Ibanez SR700 vs ESP F404

Alright, I'm kinda torn between these two basses. Which one would be a better one? Preferably I'd like a bass that's flexible and can give me a variety of sounds. If not, a jazzy tone.

I hope you guys can give me some opinions or experience shared with these basses

Yeah but i want to try something different than a fender jbass

i still believe Ibanez's RD900 (discont'd but still available) is one of the best, dynamic bass i've tried...

the F-404 is like a more metal bass? i got the F-104 it fits well with the metal stuff thats going on with the band
