i know this is another apple and orange case, but a grabber vs a thunderbird vs a EB3? which would you pick?

also, heard that the quality of thunderbirds are dropping and epihone is on a rise?

to clarify with the brand/model names,

there's the

gibson grabber (out of production)

gibson thunderbird
gibson eb3

and well as the

epiphone thunderbird
epiphone eb3

today, gibson is the parent company of epiphone. epiphone is the subsidary or gibson. gibson sells a guitar for $3000, epiphone sells the same model with different specs for $700. which means gibson > epiphone, straight forward. for example, fender/squire.

the gibson grabber is a vintage model, and it is no longer in production. back in those days, gibson and epiphone were seperate companies

Not sure about the Grabber but I'd probably pick a Gibson Thunderbird over the EB-3. From what I gather the Gibson EB-3s were famous for have problems with their neck/headstock.
