Nay, its not Bernard, its this old gent by the name of Uncle Tommy.

Btw, which Elricks do you have? The construction is beautiful, and depending on your taste, they have their own unique sound flavour. I am itching to hear that tone again to be honest.

Which reminds me, it was awfully nice of Uncle Tommy, I was just a Uni kid then a few years ago who had to sell his bass to fund something. Nice gent bought my bass and then invited me to his place to try all his basses..... they included Elricks, Custom shop fenders, Alembics (Which is why I have one now), Stingrays, vintage stuff.

Jeez, if not for him, I would have been less infected to have so many basses now.

But yeah, I really like the Elricks then, but they ain't cheap and I gotta watch my purse given my reckless buying.

I use a new jazz standard model, would have gotten an evolution, but i like the stability of the jazz model, constructed really well. Wenge neck and fingerboard, NTMB 18v 3-band barts, topless, haha would have paid an extra grand for it if i had the money.

yeah, the add on options are really expensive. But i must say i prefer the evolution designs especially those with full face... but damn.... i would prob have to sell a sizable chunk of my collection to afford that.

Were you able to sepcify the dimensions of your neck when you ordered?
