Sold off my bass-drive to get a Barber LTD from tymusic. It's pimped as a low-gain overdrive pedal, but if you run a booster before it you can get some ridiculously nice crunch. It's a very big sound, actually... brought it out to jamming today and my guitarist and drummer were blown away.
It's not as clear as the Fulltone and obviously has less gain on tap (the Fulltone in Compcut mode can be unbelievably loud), but it thickens up the tone a lot, thanks to internal trim pots for bass and presence.
Very highly recommended if you're looking for a single channel of OD. I wasn't using the boost channel of my bass-drive enough to justify its size (my pedalboard is getting pretty full), so it had to go. Already have a modded blues driver and a Zvex mammoth, so I guess I've got enough gain on tap for now
