subversion will become famous soon enough
Default Squier: Vintage Mod P-bass (touch down!)

the very attractive Vintage Modified P-Bass is now available @ swee lee (no i don't work for them...). List: $675

of late, there have been displeasures pertaining to Squier's current range of basses, namely, issues regarding tone. the VM P-bass proves that more attention to electronics & finishing would raise approvals quite readily. my experience with this bass is all that- the neck feel is a sure winner + the more refined Alnico V pickup really did the trick. if you think the Affinity/ Standard offerings aren't quite the models to channel your funds to, the VM series might have something for you...

where is this made in?
$675 is too exp for a Squire.
Top up a bit more can get a Fender.

I was quite pissed at first. This bass came in quite a long time ago and it was stocked at the Sims Drive showroom. When I asked if it was the Vintage Mod, one of the sales person said it was the Standard P Bass. The Bras Besar showroom has this now. It's a kick-ass bass. Haven't tried any Squier that's better.

It's $695.50 on the price tag actually, but do ask for a discount. *hint* (it's actually MUCHMUCH cheaper after discount)

Oh, and if you think this is too expensive for a Squier, you'll change your mind once you play with it. Just because it's a Squier doesn't mean it's poorly made.

I still think it's a lil expensive. I'd rather spend a few hundred more for the novelty of a FENDER.
