i used to own a pjb bass buddy and recently sold off my pjb d-200. both were pretty sweet. the actual tone of your bass really comes through and it's not coloured. the preamp eq is very powerful at +/- 15db (most amps are at +/- 12db) with 5 bands, although the highest band is really, really high.
the class D power amp of the d-200 isn't as powerful as those on other mini amps, but what i like is that you can crank the gain a good long way before the amp starts to clip. most other amps, no matter how powerful, start to choke around past the halfway mark.
eventually sold it because i run so many fx through my chain that having such a boutique amp was really a waste.
never tried their neo or piranha speaker cabs though. i just can't afford any kind of boutique cab at the moment.
