Effects? What effects....

I've been wanting to get a chorus for awhile now... haven't had the chance/need to try one out yet.

YEAH MAN! ... Music123 retails DOD pedals for like half price compared to what swee lee is offering the Behringer pedals too.

For BOSS pedals you'd be better off buying locally cos it's cheaper here ...

CHERNS - go get the BOSS CE-2B ... the one i'm having now .. you won't regret it man .. seriously ...

mine too man ...

i'm now eyeing the EBS black label Octabass pedal .. amazing stuff .. but Davis doesn't have it .. costs a whopping 300 bucks for that man .. but it'll be the best octave pedal you'll try ... i'm waiting for them to call me so i can place my order for it ..

hey just curious, what would you use the octave pedal for? like any examples of when you'd apply it?

I use the octave pedals when i want to fatten up my tone. I play in a church worship band so i'm going to talk about some worship stuff, if you dont' understand i'm really sorry but that's the only context so far i use it.

I use the octave pedals mainly for worship songs when the band is going into a more intense mode of playing ... sometimes i find i hit a plateu and i can't go further .. so i use the octave pedal to fatten up the tone to create an additional lower note ...

Other examples when i'm playing solo lines like an bass intro for a song .. i'll use that. Cos my band don't have electric guitarist .. so i need to cover a number of parts that the electric guitar plays .. yep .. that's all i can think so far ..

octavers, yeah they fatten up the low end, but at the same time they have this synth-like effect on the sound. real cool. add fuzz to it and u have the Muse Hysteria bass vibe to it.
