Default WTS: 14" Paiste Sound Formula Sound Edge Reflector Hi-hats

As above, I'm looking to sell a pair of 14" Paiste Sound Formula Sound Edge Reflector hihats.

These are discontinued and it's pretty hard to find them nowadays.

These are very nice cymbals, I'm only selling it because I already have four other pairs of hats so I don't really use this pair. Would work very well for louder stuff like Rock and such. Sound Edges are known to record very well too.

Sound Formula, one of the first series to use Paiste's patented Signature Alloy, which was at first known as Sound Alloy or Sound Formula. Eventually absorbed by the "Signature" line.

Paiste Sound Formula:

Sound Formula cymbals are the newest series to be made from the famous "Paiste Sound Alloy", the patented bronze we invented specifically for creating cymbal sounds.

These instruments work well in live and studio settings that require cymbals with an "attitude". They are the perfect instruments for drummers and percussionists who consider themselves to be "expressive artists" on the cutting edge of modern music.

The sound character of these cymbals is fresh, contemporary - even experimental - with brilliance and vigorous articulation.

With Sound Formula, Paiste not only sets the standard for progressive professional cymbal sound, but also creates a vehicle for our ongoing quest for original and unusual sounds. We are currently exploring the trends towards increased interest for small sounds, exotic timbres and "traditional' models with unusual harmonics
There are two generations of Sound Formula Cymbals, the first being the Round logo and the second being the Frankenstein logo. Most people seem to agree that the Round logos are the better sounding lot. Also, this pair is made in Switzerland. Most people also prefer the "Made in Switzerland" pairs as compared to those made in Germany.

The Sound Formula line was discontinued due to its similarities to the Signatures, not because it was an inferior line.

Going for $330 NEGO

Easily contactable via PM; Deal at my convenience.

My apologies for the poor picture quality.

The only difference between a regular Paiste Sound Formula Sound Edge and this Paiste Sound Formula Sound Edge REFLECTOR is that the Reflector is in brilliant finish. Hence, it's slightly brighter.

The hats are in perfect structural condition. No cracks, keyholes, dings, dents and whatnots.

Stick marks and harmless fingerprints on the top hat; nothing a good polish cannot clear. Slight logo fade.

Bottom hat in immaculate condition. Only harmless fingerprints. Logos intact.

Here's your chance to own a pair of quality hats from a professional line from Paiste!
