A Little Help: Single strings.

Hi, firstly i apologize if this has been asked a bazillion times before. I'm a guitarist so i don't visit the bass forum often.
So i need a .65 (probably thicker) single string. Do you guys know where i could find shops that sell single bass string?

i was at Davis yesterday, they seem to sell single strings. not sure if they have the gauge you're looking for though, you'll have to ask them.
