Default Another pedal question

Hi all. I'm pretty new to bass so jus wanted to ask whether

1) a guitar eq pedal can be used for bass
2) a vox wah pedal can be used for bass

EQ will work, just that you'll be eq-ing different frequencies. you can compare the Boss GE7 and the Boss GEB7, they have different frequency ranges so you can get the idea of what frequencies you'll miss out on by using a guitar eq.

wah pedal would probably work, but won't sound good. wah pedals work but cutting out frequencies and stuff like that, and since guitar frequencies are different from bass, it's going to sound weird.
