i just got my timbre jazz bass today..im very happy with the sound it offers..

im just slightly disappointed that the neck is not narrower at the nut..it feels just like a p bass neck IMO..

the string action is also a little low for my liking, but that can be easily settled..too bad i didn realise the low action until i reach home..

overall this is a good bass and i love it..highly recommended..

p.s. mike at sv is also a super nice guy to work with..

action is the distance between the strings and the frets.

high action = more distance.

low action = lesser distance.

the timbre is really bang for buck and for a little less than 300, u cannot find any much better basses IMO..
