- Ash body, Flamed-Maple top, Maple neck and a RARE ebony fingerboard for a fretted L2000. If you ask me, an Ebony fingerboard is bright like a Maple one, just minus the 'nasty' tones. Body comes with binding, fingerboard is unmark on the front. Yummy.
- Action and setup is amazing. Strings can go REALLY low without buzz. This is the best playing bass I have in my small arsenal, but it dosent seem to suit what I'm doing sonically or have a B-string which I need these days.
- Hipshot D-tuner.
- This is the most fun part: Instead of the usual (Parallel/Series) wiring for the pickups, this bass is Outer Coils/Parallel/Inner Coils. The Outer Coil settings resemble a 70's Jazz or PJ bass. Parallel is the classic L2000 'Mother-of-Slap' sound. Inner Coil setting would be nice for fingerstyle in rock contexts. MUCH MORE VERSATILE than a regular L2000.
- The pickguard you see in the pictures are just makeshift. It is taped onto the body and easily removed. The previous owner from the states loved this bass obviously. I would too if I have more time to play it outside of my band!
- The price is $1950. I paid more than this and had to deal with shipping hassles. Lowballers, try somebody else with a Korean Tribute. I can try to get better pictures on request by borrowing/buying a camera which I sorely need.
