Personally, I find RD700SX/GX way better than any other stage pianos. For stage piano, the key feature is ergonomics. You need to have the right buttons/switch at the exact place to get things done quickly on the fly during a live performance. You need maximum control over the sounds including layering and splitting, controlling individual patches within a layer etc. So far, I can't find a stage piano to have achieved this in a stage piano other than RD700SX/GX.

Does that make Roland RD700SX/GX the best? No. It's good. VERY good. But no, it's not the best. Because, there is no best. Perhaps we can have a thread to list what are the key features in each category of keyboard (digital piano, synth, stage piano, workstation, arranger, controller etc) that would make a "dream" keyboard within that category and see which one fits it the closest. Anybody wants to start?
